May 24.

It is Christlikeness. Christ is the perfect embodiment of true humility and dependence on God and also of the nothingness that we lost in the garden.
The humility of Christ was not a temporary, transient, occasional sentiment of feeling that came when He sinned or was in a crisis. It showed us Christ’s essential heart and nature.
The main aim of Christ was to be nothing so His father could express Himself through Him fully.
The first and the chief marks of Christ within us must now be to learn of Him this great humility. When we learn of Christ, we will discover a new life of self-renunciation, absolute submission, nothingness and dependence that is entirely peaceful, joyful and centred on the Lord
