Read and hear the Word, and make sure it is the Word
Do it every day
Wait for God

Daily Verse

Proverbs 8:34 ►New International Version
Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

New Living Translation
Joyful are those who listen to me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home!

King James Bible
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

KEEP GOING

See Job 8:7; Haggai 2:9; and Ruth 3:10. With God there is ALWAYS the hope of expansion for the hopeful. God proves faithful to the faithful. God blesses those who continue to ask and seek His blessings. Is your heart open today? Do you have a vision for better days ahead of you?

DO NOT EVER GIVE UP.

KEEP GOING.

For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened (Matt 7:8, AMPC).

Here are Four Iportant Things To Do Before Bedtime

Here are four important things to do before bedtime

  1. Reflect. Think back on your day. Whether it was a good one or a rough one., It was a day that will not return. Take note of things you would like to do better and take joy in the things that went well. Every day is a gift.
  2. Forgive. Forgiveness is something God has commanded of us and it isn’t always easy. But it is one step of faith that will allow us to have a more peaceful rest. If we are holding grudges, bitterness, or feelings of anger towards someone, it’s important to get go of those things, as much as humanly possible. I could say a lot about forgiveness and the necessity for it in our lives, but for now I will simply share the Scripture from Mark 11: 25:
“But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”
  3. Pray. Praying before bedtime seems like a perfectly natural thing to do. Most of us have been saying bedtime prayers since we were children. But how should we pray? First, we should confess. Whatever has happened during our day should be released in confession to the Lord, who loves you. Confession leads to a request for forgiveness because forgiveness isn’t just something we give to others. It’s something we need from God for ourselves. Second, we should give thanks. Gratitude, for even the simple parts of our day, puts our spirits right with God. Third, we should bring our petitions to the Lord. Each one of us has burdens and needs. We all know others who have the same. We should bring all of these to God, who cares for each detail of our lives.
  4. Let go. Once we have reflected, forgiven, and prayed, we find the freedom to let go and receive the rest that God has for us. Fears and worries melt away when we have turned everything over the loving Father above, who will watch over us all through the night and who holds our days in his hands.

SPARE PARTS IN HEAVEN

Brenton Septuagint Translation
I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: shall anything be hidden from me!

Jeremiah 32:27 Amplified Bible (AMP)
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?”

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL

THEME: SPARE PARTS IN HEAVEN

MEMORISE: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

READ: 2 Kings 5:9-14

9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

MESSAGE

I once heard a story of a man who visited heaven and came back. He said in heaven, he was shown a room where there were many spare parts of human bodies. When he asked what they were all for, he was told that they were there to be given to people on earth whose body parts might have been damaged and in need of new ones. That is good news for someone who needs a new body part; ask God for yours today and He will give you from His store.

The Bible says that Naaman’s skin returned to him like that of a baby. That was a new skin. In Mark 3:1-5, the Lord Jesus gave a man with a withered hand a new one. In John 9:1-7, Jesus met a man who was born without eyes and He gave him a new pair. Whenever you read in the Bible that Jesus made a leprous fellow whole, what happened was that the chopped off fingers or ear lobes were replaced with new ones.

God can replace that part of your body that needs changing, if you ask Him.

There was a family in which the parents were Professors, but their son was a dullard. If I were to describe him in my native tongue, I would say where the brain was supposed to be, there was only water there. This boy never passed any exam. He would always come last in his class, with the worst results. When moved from a class of 33 students to one of 40, his position moved from 33rd to 40th. His parents got him the best of teachers and yet he kept on failing. One day, we had a programme at the University where they lived; we prayed a simple prayer for this boy.
At the next examination that the boy sat for, he came first in the class. His teachers said that was not possible because they knew that, even if the boy was given the answers to copy in the exam hall, he would copy them wrong.
Thus they gave him another test and he scored even higher in that one. God had given him a brand-new brain.

My Daddy is the God of all flesh. He has all human spare parts in His store; just ask Him and He will give you what you need. Nothing is too hard for Him to do.

ACTION POINT

Tell God that new body part that you need-whether it is your brain or another part of your body, tell Him about it now. If you don’t need a new body part, ask for someone you know who need one.

HYMN12: MY FAITH LOOKS TO THEE

1 My faith looks up to thee,
thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine.
Now hear me while I pray;
take all my guilt away;
O let me from this day
be wholly thine!

2 May thy rich grace impart
strength to my fainting heart;
my zeal inspire!
As thou hast died for me,
oh, may my love to thee
pure, warm, and changeless be,
a living fire!

3 While life’s dark maze I tread,
and griefs around me spread,
be thou my guide.
Bid darkness turn to day,
wipe sorrow’s tears away,
nor let me ever stray
from thee aside.

4 When ends life’s transient dream,
when death’s cold, sullen stream
shall o’er me roll,
blest Savior, then, in love,
fear and distrust remove;
O bear me safe above,
a ransomed soul!

NEHEMIAH 3 – MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK

NEHEMIAH 3 – MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK

Nehemiah 3

After arriving in Jerusalem, Nehemiah set out in the night to investigate the city’s condition. It was in bad shape, probably worse than he had imagined. The work ahead was massive, and it would require many hands. As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Even still, one might easily have looked at the job and said, it’s too big!

Nevertheless, the people offered up willing hearts and ready hands, and God can work with that. In any great task you need leadership, a vision, and some skin in the game. Nehemiah was clearly the leader – he had a burden from the Lord, and a plan in place. This was necessary, but what was most necessary was people. People are always the way in which God advances his plans on the earth.

It was the people who had to say, “Let us rise up and build.” Without everyone involved, the task was too great. The high priest (v. 1), a goldsmith, a perfume maker (v. 8), a city leader, and his daughters (v.12), all put their shoulders to the work. Some did more, some did less, and some did nothing at all (v. 5). Their names were recorded in the Bible, because God cares about people and not just projects.

The people worked with all of their hearts, side by side. Families worked together to build the section of the wall just in front of their own home (v. 28, 29). Because, individually protected homes adds up to make a collectively protected community. When those with more skill and energy finished their own section, they went on to help others (v. 30). The things that are too much for just one person or even a few are achievable when everyone rises up and gets involved.

God has strategically placed us where he wants us to be in order to accoplish great things. He has an important work for us to do: in the church, in neighborhoods, in business, in government, and especially in homes. So together, let’s get our hands on the work.

YOHANES 1:16 Dia penuh kasih; Dia terus-menerus memberkati kita semua.(BMDCMalay)

🔴Grace is the manifestation of the love, compassion and power of God; the outward reflection of a divine influence in the human spirit.

🔴God’s grace is supernatural!

🔴It brings favour, prosperity, health and supernatural increase.

📖John 1:16 AMPC For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another {and} spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing {and} even favor upon favor {and} gift [heaped] upon gift.

🔴This supernatural grace has been bestowed upon you.

🔴Grace brings acceptability, honour and dignity; it attracts the right people, circumstances and resources in line with God’s purpose, into your life.

🔴Even in challenging situations, grace gives you the advantage and causes you to rise above every adversity.

🔴Grace differentiates you in the world; it sets you apart for glory and excellence.

🔴There’s absolutely nothing in this world, including its fame or fortune, that could be compared with what the grace of Jesus Christ has delivered to you. No wonder Paul the Apostle counsels in 2 Corinthians 6:1, “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain” ; but rather, “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1).

🔴To be strong in the grace of God is to walk in the fullness of His grace.

🔴Being the seed of Abraham, the grace for prosperity is working in you too. That grace puts you ahead and positions you for success like it did for Isaac, who sowed in a time of famine and reaped a hundredfold harvest in the same year (Genesis 26:12-13).

HONEY

🍯 “My son, eat thou HONEY, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:” (Proverbs 24:13 KJV)
🍯 “Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this HONEY.” (1 Samuel 14:29 KJV)
🍯 More to be desired are they than gold, even than much fine gold: sweeter also than HONEY and drippings from the honeycomb. (Psalms 19:10 AMPC)

When I saw this image of a honeycomb it reminded me of the sweetness of the Lord in my life – His words are always sweet although at times they have had to be eaten in bitterness (prophetic people).

Tasting and seeing that the Lord is good – the fear of Lord is clean, enduring forever – forever we can exist under such an umbrella – the judgment of the Lord are true and righteousness altogether- more to be desired are they than gold.

We are liken to earthen vessels as in this picture of a jar that carry the glory – glory pails – lanterns of light – through oil of night anointing’s streams that flow – touching the bride tribe – making her pure and like white light – lite the flame Lord in your church which one burnt so bright – reverse the roll call to bring this world back to your sovereignty – for you are the TREASURE in earthen vessels.

The HONEYCOMB of His LOVE – It is said that the word HONEY is mentioned 61 times in the Bible – this speaks of ABUNDANCE.
We have all heard of the land where HONEY and milk flow – a proverbial metaphor, expressing ABUNDANCE, that which the Hebrew children used when referring to Palestine – the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and HONEY; unto the place of the Canaanites, and…” (Exodus 3:6-8) – It appears in the songs of Moses: “he shall not see the rivers, the flowing streams of HONEY and butter.” (Job 20: 17.)

The HONEYCOMB of His love – as I was praying one day I saw the spiral wooden instrument one uses to twirl and pour HONEY as we partake of its sweetness – His sweetness – His sweetness attaches itself into the inside of us – coating us with His ability to embrace others with the sweetness we have tasted.

I have read that germs cannot live in HONEY – and honey is the only food on the planet that will not spoil or rot – it will do what some call turning to sugar but in reality honey is always honey.

Facts on HONEY and Cinnamon: is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cures most diseases – honey is produced in most of the countries of the world – scientists of today also accept HONEY as a very effective medicine for all kinds of diseases – HONEY can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases –
Shabbat Shalom to all those who practice this wonderful time of rest in His presence.
